A new experience at Sentosa

I went Sentosa quite unwillingly because of work.
It was with BH management and a few of their regulars.
Yup. And so with caryn and karyn, we went thinking what time we should go off.
We weren't expecting much.

The afternoon started with carring lots of bbq stuffs to tanjong beach.
And well, all of us knew we couldn't cook there but they still wanna risk. shrugs.
1 kaegan and 2 medium black dogs(i didn't ask what breed but the rest called them "in du gou"), karyn and i had fun exhausting ourselves with them.
THEY CAN REALLY RUN WITH US.
Best thing is, i can't rem when is the last time i actually wrestle with my friends on the beach, played silly games and all.
Total exercise.
Oh! games like you have to turn yourself 20rounds then race to the finishing line to grab this victory flag. hahahha. FUN.
And playing frisbee having kaegan as the "monkey".
I swear to outrun a kaegan isn't easy, esp when you didn't manage to catch the frisbee and you have to do a dash followed by a dive to make sure she doesn't get it first. Phew.
But sorry la, i think i screamed abit so that i can have the turbo turned on to win her. Heh.
Kaegan can be a really good companion. Hahahha.
She just ran round and round wherever the frisbee went.

(i want to add in that while we're playing under the sun, caryn is wearing her shades, hiding below this big tree, folding her arms, faning herself with a stack of paper plates somewhere 100m away from us. Alone. nod.)

Then they started bbq-ing and took out a stove and pan which surprised me.
They did it the western/italian way. Mussels, clams, veg, crayfish, big prawns, lamb etc!
they cooked the seafood with white wine, garlic, chilli padi, butter and don't know wat else. DAMN SHIOK.
These people know really how to cook la i tell you!
It's entertaining to see them cooking out on the beach with a stove and pan.
A moment of blessing when you're just out there playing beach games and the aroma of delicious food in the making, just keeping drifting to you.
While playing the vietnam chantak, greedy us each had a beer on the left hand and a huge lamb shang on the right. Munching and gulping while kicking.
I have seriously never done this kinda thing before. Bbq yes, but not straight out cooking with a stove and pan!

The evening took it to a higher point when it started to rain.
To karyn and i, our natural reaction is, "eh rain alr, faster pack up and go alr. Faster!"
To our surprise, everyone just moved their things in to the shelter and continue to do whatever they are doing. Like bringing dogs to swim, continue cooking, drink beer, talk rubbish as though the sun still shine.
We were all drenched and nobody cares!
So, in rome do what the romans do, i starting picking up freshly cooked food and opening cans of beer.
When night came, we just sat down and play some card games with never ending of booze.
I asked karyn this question, "When was the last time we did something like this?! When was the last time we had so much fun? All we do is sit there to laze and tan. Read, or play some poker. And the thing is, those people are not even close to us!"

When i got home, i told caryn that i am so exhausted that i couldn't even move but i can't fall asleep cause you know, like kids, when they had too much activities and fun earlier on, they just couldn't get to sleep at night? Yea. It happened to me.

To end it all, i woke up this morning having muscle ache from almost every part of my body.
Calve muscles, inner thigh and my BUTT muscles hurt the most la!
i think it came from those dashes and splits i had to do!
More shiok than those i got from playing wii. hahaha.
